A neon distraction stole my gaze, coming from some thick, fuzzy coral socks. Given their glow can be seen from space and hairy texture, there’s no way “got dressed in the dark” could give my co-worker the benefit of the doubt. No, she made a conscious choice to don these. She said her feet get cold in flats, as she has a no socks with flats rule, so she puts on the booties at work. Style is blending aesthetics with function, but don’t let one push you over the edge, especially in the 9to5 world.
